Onírica armchair

The six-legged Onírica armchair is a reinterpretation of the iconic six-legged chair so beloved by Salvador Dalí, who had it custom-built with added armrests. It is a unique piece in its conception, as an exclusive modification designed to enhance comfort.

Escaping the rigidity and discomfort of conventional chairs, Dalí reclined in this armchair, immersing himself in his dreamlike universe a piece immortalized in numerous photographs alongside the surrealist genius. Today, we have brought it back from the past to give it the place it deserves.

Bold yet traditional, its lower-than-usual seat and wider backrest encourage a relaxed posture, creating a sense of well-being that only those who choose to use it can fully appreciate. With Onírica, aesthetics, art, and comfort merge into a single concept..

Materials and finishes

This armchair has been crafted from solid wood, precisely turned by our master carpenters to ensure detailed finishing on each piece.

The seat, wider than that of a conventional chair, is handmade in Spain using handwoven bulrush (enea), following a traditional technique that only a few artisans still know. It includes integrated armrests, also in turned wood, providing added comfort and support.

The assembly process was manual, with precise fittings to guarantee robustness and stability. The distribution of the legs provides enhanced stability, while the piece-by-piece assembly ensures the highest durability and resilience of the armchair.
